Churchill's 100 Wedding Anniversary

A trivial commemoration to Sir. W. Churchill

I've bought a book on American General Douglas MacArthur earlier today & listened to his farewell speech to the Congress in 1951 tonight. I find MacArthur had a similar attitude towards war with Sir Winston Churchill and they were almost same generation: Churchill born in 1874 & Douglas born in 1880. They all inherit their father's successful career, as Douglas' father are General in Chief of American Philippine Troop & Churchill's father one of the youngest & most unexpected Lord Chancellor that Britain ever seen.

Both Churchill and MacArthur made their fame through war, Churchill in Boer War around the turn of the century and MacArthur in the later Great War. Both Churchill & MacArthur have been exiled from central power because of their die hard resistance to Communism and accused as Warmonger by political opponents and considered as die-hard politically by observers.

As regarding to their personality, both was fearless facing death & danger, both were extremely patriotic in a rarely seen pure form, both were extremely determinant & which serve as a potential threat to their competent subordinates: The First Sea Lord John Fisher's walking out of Admiralty almost ruined Churchill and Eisenhower's leaving MacArthur after 6 years dedicated service as military aid. Both Fisher & Eisenhower has been admirer & followers to Churchill & MacArthur and been driven industriously & but breaking up with their boss for no industrious reason.Maybe Eisenhower is the person qualified to comment on the Character of Both of them for some said that his 6 year service to MacArthur 1929-1933 are necessary prepare for his future handling of Churchill's challenging personality.

As their relationship with the other gender, both Churchill & MacArthur were deeply influenced by their mother and had their beloved ladies struggle for preserving their memory & reputation after their death.

If I have to cite something to describe their personality, I should say it is flame, as dynamic, as pure, as hilarious, as energic, as hot as FLAME.
